About

Silvermoon Shack has been created by Lucy Feagins, founder of The Design Files, with her husband, furniture designer & cabinetmaker Gordon Johnson.

Together, Lucy and Gordon have reimagined this simple beach shack, transforming it into a cosy and inviting home, whilst retaining its nostalgic charm. The interior spaces have been updated with careful consideration of every detail - from the custom cabinetry and bespoke furniture designed and built by Gordon, to the eclectic collection of art, ceramics and homewares curated by Lucy.

The gardens have been designed by landscape designer Jo Ferguson.

Location

Silvermoon Shack is located just 4 minutes walk from Dimmicks Beach, Blairgowrie - the beach track is at the end of our street.

From here, you can enjoy breathtaking walks along some of Victoria's most picturesque beaches - walk South towards 16th Beach and the rugged coastline of Gunnamatta, or North, towards Bridgewater Bay.

Questions

  • Accomodation starts at $300 per night on weeknights, $500 per night on weekends in winter, or $600 per night on weekends in summer. There is a $300 cleaning + laundry fee applied to every booking.

    Rates are subject to change during peak periods.

  • At most times there is a 2-night minimum stay.

  • Bookings may be cancelled until 7 days before check-in for a full refund.

    If cancelled within 7 days of booking, 50% of the booking fee will be forfeited.

    If cancelled within 48 hrs of booking, 100% of the booking fee will be forfeited.

  • Absolutely! Silvermoon Shack is perfect for families with children.

    Bedroom 2 sleeps up to 3 people (with 1 single bed + 1 queen bed). A portacot can be supplied on request.

    The back garden is ideal for young children, with a lawn, cubby house and swimming pool.
